Impressions by Natalie Mayroth

India means noise, heat, smell – and mostly the streets in a city like Mumbai, where I spent most of my time during the fellowship, are super crowded. But still there is a certain kind of magic, that you can only feel, if you have once been here. This kind of enchantment I tried to capture with photos processed on 35mm film. Let me show you my neighborhood in Bandra West, where death and life; Christians, Hindus and Muslims are so close to each other.
